OHS is an open-source burglar alarm and home automation platform. It can be used as a new alarm gateway or as a replacement for an existing alarm panel. OHS supports any wired 12V sensor, including PIR, microwave, smoke, or reed switch. It includes a web interface for configuration and setup.
The system features a GSM modem capable of sending SMS alerts or paging you directly, as well as a radio interface for connecting to environmental sensors. OHS is fully self-contained and does not require any cloud services—only an optional SMTP server for sending emails or an MQTT server for publishing collected sensor data.
